Renting of Computers Labs

There are 21 computer labs at the FIB used to support the learning and training of students.
These labs may be reserved and rented by Internal UPC organizations or other external institutions subject to availability.

How to use

Use of the labs is subject to previous authorization upon a written request by the interested person or institution. By sending a written request you are accepting the fares and other conditions established by the University.

To make a request, open a ticket at https://peticions.utgcntic.upc.edu/ specifying the following details:

• Day and time of the reservation
• Number of people that will occupy the room
• Necessary Software
• Activity that will take place

The indicated fares will be satisfied before use of the infrastructure. Half day occupation corresponds to 6 subsequent hours of use.

Reservation request may be done at least 15 days prior intended day of use.

The rooms must remain in the same conditions as they were before use.

Available times are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. .

• FIB will not take responsibility for exceptional problems beyond our control such as power outages or failure of the academic network (RedIris).

These are the rental fares for FIB's computer rooms:

 For postgraduate courses and master programmes, with more than 100-hour,   rate for UPC Group entities or  entities related to the UPC will be 40 € / h.
