The Knowledge Engineering Research Group (GREC) is an interdisciplinary group whose members belong to the Department of Automatic Control and the Department of Mathematics, as well as the University of Ramon Llull and other institutions and research entities.
The group focuses its activity in the research and development of technologies included in the artificial intelligence area, and focuses in aspects related to qualitative reasoning, automatic learning and multicriteria decision systems. The goal is the study and research of systems based on knowledge and their quality nature, tacit or intangible, promoting an interdisciplinary research with areas of application with social relevance that suppose an increment of the quality of life of human beings, habitats and communities.
