In order to develop international politics, UPC-BarcelonaTech is a member of a series of university networks of excellence that respond to different objectives and that focus their efforts on the joint work of prestigious institutions in order to obtain results that position us, that visualize us and to lead the interests and strategies of the institution at the highest level.

UPC is part of several international networks, but as a FIB student, you might be interested in the following:

CLUSTER

UPC is part of a network of european universities named CLUSTER (Cooperative Link between Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research). FIB students who make an academic stay at one of the institutions in the network with whom FIB have an agreement (institutions with an active link) will receive a special diploma at their graduation academic ceremony.

CINDA

UPC is also part of the CINDA network (Centro Interuniversitario de Desarrollo), integrated by several universities in Latin America and Europe. This network aims to promote student mobility from Europe to Latin America and back, as well as the internationalization of the university studies of both continents and strengthen the links between network member universitites.

MAGALHAES

The Magalhães network is a consortium of universities in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean created to promote and support the exchange between students in these areas.

The SMILE mobility program lets exchange students be recognised as student of the destination university. Agreements between FIB and member universities are included in the partner universities list.
