The Informatics in Engineering Group is formed by members of the Department of Computer Science.
Research and development are focused on the generic field of computer graphics applications, and computer-aided design and its applications. The goal is the development of the interactive and computerized systems based on graphic representations. Their principal research areas are:
- Parametric modelling of solids
- Solid representations through triangulations
- Modelling
- Visualization and Simulation of computerized medicine
- Geographical information systems
