GIE - Engineering Informatics Group

The Informatics in Engineering Group is formed by members of the Department of Computer Science.

Research and development are focused on the generic field of computer graphics applications, and computer-aided design and its applications. The goal is the development of the interactive and computerized systems based on graphic representations. Their principal research areas are:

  • Parametric modelling of solids
  • Solid representations through triangulations
  • Modelling
  • Visualization and Simulation of computerized medicine
  • Geographical information systems
