FIB, top 100 of QS World University Rankings in CS and SI

This year's edition of QS World University Rankings by Subject shows how FIB's Computer Science and Information Systems shorten distances from last year's ranking, and changes the place 101th-150th from 2019 to an impressive 51th-100th from this year 2020. Regarding Spain, UPC has achieved 1st position in this field.

The UPC also stands out in the general field of Engineering and Technology and is located the 76th (1st of Spain), leaving behind the 85th from 2019 and making this 2020's result the best in the last four years. We should also point out that UPC is the 21th in the Architecture field and the 23th in the Civil engineering global ranking.

Regarding the general ranking, UPC keeps itself between the best 300 universities of the world, and together with Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Ramon Llull, is one of the catalan universities that stands in the top 50 of the QS Subjects Ranking. The QS University World Rankings is an anual publication that points out the best universities in 48 different subjects globally, and is one of the most researched in the world.
