Valero's team has won the GoldmanSachs prize for the best financial project

The GreatUniHack 2017 2017 hackathon was held from 11 to 12 November at the MMU Business School in Manchester (UK). More than 100 participants aimed for the fourteen prizes awarded by this 24-hour hackathon organised annually by the University of Manchester tech society, UniCS.
The team of the student of the Bachelor Degree in Informatics Engineering at the FIB, David Valero Masachs, has won the GoldmanSachs award for the best financial project. Valero's project, called CoinCounter, consists of a web app compatible with any device that reports the amount of foreign currency coins available and its equivalence in the user’s currency by simply taking a picture.
Since 2014, the GreatUniHack brings together students from 88 universities across Europe to work and develop innovative ideas within a competitive environment
