Two fibers win the DIBA App Contest 2016

The Diputación de Barcelona has proclaimed winner of the contest to the augmented reality video game "Untrail", created by Pau Tena Vidal and David García Ruíz, both of them students of the Bachelor Degree in Informatics Engineering.

 

The president of the Diputación de Barcelona, ​​Mercè Conesa, accompanied by the deputy of Finance, Human Resources, Processes and Information Society, Joan Carles García Cañizares, delivered yesterday, November 16, at the stand that the corporation has in the Smart City Expo World Congress, the "DIBA Apps Contests" and the "DIBA IoT Contests".

The 'DIBA Apps Contest' award went to APP Untrail,created by Pau Tena (student of Degree, speciality of Software Engineering Degree) and David García (student of Degree, speciality of Information Systems).

This augmented reality video game has been designed to encourage the practice of sport among young people, while promoting the knowledge of the city in a playful way. In this sense, the jury has valued the originality and creativity of the proposal and its innovative component.
