The FIB emeritus professor Antoni Olivé has recently been honoured with a book dedicated to recognizing his long scientific career in Information Systems and Software Engineering.Wednesday 11 April 2018
This book, entitled Conceptual Modeling Perspectives and published by Springer, has been edited by professors Cristina Gómez, Maria R. Sancho and Ernest Teniente, all three professors of the FIB and the ESSI department. Researchers Jordi Cabot and Oscar Pastor, from the UOC and the UPV, have also collaborated in the book edition.
The book was delivered to Antoni Olivé during the last edition of the prestigious 36th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER 2017), where Prof. Olivé gave the keynote speech The Universal Ontology: a Vision for Conceptual Modeling and the Semantic Web.
In addition to his scientific work, Prof. Antoni Olivé has assumed in the past, among others, the positions of Vice-dean Head of Studies and Dean of the FIB.
