ITMO is offering its best short-term programmes in the online format.

ITMO University offers programs from 10 January to 4 February 2022 to provide students with the best opportunity to upgrade their skills and knowledge from any convenient location.

The programs offered are:

Winter Camp in Competitive Programming 2022

The world-class experts will help you gain knowledge, obtain professional skills, and acquire unique international experience in the field. The duration are two weeks, from 10 to 21 January 2022. You will get an ITMO’s official certificate and three ECTS.

The applicants are students with programming language skills who are proficient in English language.

The application deadline is 15 December 2021.

Apply Competitive Programming

Winter Camp in Cyber Security 2022

Camp participants will be involved in the study process, using various techniques to raise involvement and engagement such as teamwork, problem learning, flipped learning, etc. The duration are two weeks, from 24 January to 4 February 2022. You will get an ITMO’s official certificate and three ECTS.

The applicants are IT specialist, Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students with programming skills who are proficient in English language.

The application deadline is 9 January 2022.

Apply Cyber Security

Winter School in the Russian Language and Culture 2022

This course will help you acquire knowledge of the Russian language and culture for all levels. Each course lasts for one week including project work and extracurricular activities. Students can choose to study 1-4 weeks, from 10 January to 4 February 2022. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an ITMO’s official certificate and two ECTS.

The application deadlines are 14 December 2021 and 9, 16 and 23 January 2022.

ATTENTION: If you are accepted in the course and you would like to get academic recognition on your degree’s academic record for having carried out this activity, it is essential that, at least a couple of months before attending the course, you send an email to , and we will assess whether or not recognition is possible. Be aware that the vast majority of Winter/Summer Schools do not offer academic recognition, and the courses with credit recognition results in a lower amount of ECTS than those proposed in the information leaflets.
