The UPC, leader in Informatics according to the CYD 2020 Ranking

The UPC has achieved leadership in the field of informatics engineering in the CYD 2020 ranking carried out by the Fundación CYD. The results by indicators show that the UPC has the highest number of high performance indicators in informatics engineering. The UPC is also a leader in civil and mechanical engineering, in addition to being in the top 3 of electrical, chemical and materials engineering.

On the other hand, the Fundación CYD also highlights the UPC as a university to study engineering in Spain for being in seventh place according to the webometric classification of the CSIC of January 2020, and in number ten on the Times Higher Education list. In the world ranking of universities QS 2020, it holds the eighth position, and in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, the UPC is the first Spanish university in the field of engineering and technology.

Finally, The Fundación CYD reports that the UPC is amongst the first in Spain in the recent Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, also in the area of engineering.
