Ruralmeeting and DataXip visit FIB, invited by SIO and PSI

The students of SIO and PSI, subjects of the Information Systems Specialization of the GEI program at FIB, are working this semester around an entrepreneurial initiative consisting of the organization of congresses in small rural villages, with support of information systems and technologies. In this context, the students wanted to know first hand the real experience of the Catalan companies Ruralmeeting and DataXip, collaborators in the organization via internet of business meetings in rural hotels. Invited by the professor of SIO and PSI, Joan A. Pastor, on Thursday 17-5-2018 the Director of Communication of Ruralmeeting, Anna Cano, accompanied by the computing technician of DataXip, Jordi Espinal, presented their initiative and platform in front of the students, who were able to ask the guests a long series of questions, both of business topics and of the systems and technologies used.
