4th CASSINI Hackathon

From 4 to 6 November, the 4th CASSINI Hackathon will be held with the topic Space for the Financial World, with the aim of showing how data generated by Earth Observation and GNSS technologies can provide solutions to some of the current challenges in insurance, investment and financial services.

The Hackathon will be held simultaneously at 10 European locations, where the participating teams will have to develop their innovative solutions in one of the following three challenges:

• Enable green and sustainable investment.
• Develop innovative financial tools and technologies.
• Advancement in global financial intelligence.

The Catalan edition, coordinated by the Knowledge Innovation Market Foundation (KIMbcn), the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the IEEC, will be held in hybrid format at the Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació i Aeroespacial de Castelldefels (EETAC).

The winning team will receive a financial endowment of 1.500 € in addition to specialized tutoring. The event is especially aimed at university students in the fields of engineering, mathematics, computer science, entrepreneurs, programmers and space sector specialists.
