The subject covers different aspects related to the Mobile Internet, such as the possibilities and limitations of technologies associated with transmission without children, cellular networks, WiFi networks, and low consumption communication technologies. Also the signal processing of sensors incorporated in mobile phones (accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope) and positioning technologies. The use case sessions deal with aspects that are not purely technological, but which are important to understand the evolution and possibilities of the mobile Internet, such as the value chain, ecosystem, application markets, business models, etc. More specifically, the topics covered are the following: The Mobile Internet value chain. Radio transmission. Cellular networks. WiFi networks and short range technologies. Mobility support protocols. Sensors. Basic sensor signal processing techniques (filters, sensor fusion). Positioning technologies. Mobile applications (platforms, business models, limitations, etc.).

The goal is to design a mobile application. You can choose an application. It will analyze the applications available on Apple App Store or Android Market with similar characteristics, comparing our implementation with the competition. We will choose a business model (ie, how will money with this application), marketing, etc.. We will design the application (graphics, functionality, etc.). On a voluntary basis can we deploy the application for Android OS and IOS. In this case you can publish the application for the market.
