Linköping University (LiU), Summer Academy 2025

If you are a FIB student and would like to have an international experience, the Linköping Summer Academy (Sweden) offers you a unique opportunity. This four-week program, taking place from 27th of June to 26th of July, is exclusively available for students from Linköping University's (LiU) partner universities. 

The tuition and application fees are fully waived, but students must be able to cover course literature, living expenses and travels to and from Linköping. As a FIB student, this experience gives you an opportunity to study abroad for one month.

The Liu Summer academy offers several high-quality courses to choose from and you will gain cultural insights together with other international students from all over the world. All courses are taught in English and are full-time.

• Sweden: Language, Culture and Society
• Superman, Daisy Duck and Tintin: reading and learning in the world of comics inventions
• Alternative Energy: past, present, future, and innovations
• Nanotechnology - Sustainable Challenges and Social Impact
• Leadership and Organisational Behaviour in Contemporary Organisations
• The Use (and Abuse) of Culture

Course dates: From 27 June to 26 July
To be eligible it is required to have passed 60 ECTS at FIB and have a good English command (level B2).
If you are interested in participating in this summer academy, please send an e-mail to before the 19th of March with the following information:

• Name of the courses you are interested in by order of preference
• Enclose your English level certificate

As there are limited places, we will select among all the petitions that meet the requirements.

The chosen candidates (you will be informed of this by e-mail) must apply to the programme through the Linkoping website before the 24th of March.

ATTENTION: If you are accepted in the course and you would like to get academic recognition on your degree’s academic record for having carried out this activity, it is essential that, at least a couple of months before attending the course, you send an email to , and we will assess whether or not recognition is possible. Be aware that the vast majority of Winter/Summer Schools do not offer academic recognition, and the courses with credit recognition results in a lower amount of ECTS than those proposed in the information leaflets.
