On Tuesday, 11th of March, the FIB hosted a dynamic and educational event with the participation of more than a hundred students from Escola Pia de Sarrià. The students took part in the Let's Go Engineering activity, an initiative within the Connexia programme, launched by UPC together with Schneider Electric, aimed at introducing young people to the world of engineering and technology.
The students engaged in three interactive activities. One of them was a computational thinking challenge, where they applied logic and problem-solving skills. Another activity focused on artificial intelligence, in which they discovered how machines learn and make decisions. Finally, they explored the world of cybersecurity, understanding the importance of protecting oneself in the digital world.
This event was not only an opportunity to discover the world of STEM careers, but also fostered the students' interest in technology in a practical and fun way.
The activity was a great success, achieving its goal of motivating and inspiring future generations of engineers.
