FIB begins the celebration of its 50th anniversary

The FIB has officially begun the events celebrating its 50th anniversary with an event held at Plaça de la FIB. The dean, Anna Río, marked the beginning of a year of commemorations to celebrate half a century of the Faculty’s history.

As a symbolic gesture of this anniversary, the candles marking FIB’s 50 years were blown out, a moment that officially launched the programme of activities and initiatives that will take place over the coming months to commemorate this milestone.

This event marks the beginning of a celebration that will continue throughout the year, with initiatives that will highlight the history, community and impact of the Faculty.

An opportunity to remember the path travelled and, at the same time, look to the future with ambition, continuing to build a great school of reference in the field of computer science.
