Gemma Sesé awarded the FIB Mention at the 22nd Festibity

On Tuesday 13th of May, the 22nd Festibity (Information Technology Festival) was held at the National Theatre of Catalonia. As every year, four Festibity Mentions were awarded during the event. These awards are presented by the Barcelona School of Informatics and FIB Alumni (the FIB Alumni Association) to individuals or organisations that have stood out in the field of information technologies, upholding values or approaches aligned with the goals of FIB Alumni and the FIB.

This year, the FIB Mention was awarded to Gemma Sesé, lecturer in the Department of Physics and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the FIB, in recognition of her outstanding work as a teacher, researcher, and academic leader, as well as for her commitment to enhancing the educational experience and promoting innovation and knowledge transfer projects.

Albert Tort, Secretary for Telecommunications and Digital Transformation of the Government of Catalonia, presented the FIB Mention.
