Friday, 13th of June, will take place the Master's Graduation Ceremony 2025
The graduation ceremony for FIB master’s students will take place on 13th of June, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the auditorium of the Vertex building on the North Campus of the UPC.
If you are graduating during the 2024-2025 academic year from one of the following master’s programs, save the date:
- Master in Informatics Engineering
- Master in Innovation and Research in Informatics
- Master in Artificial Intelligence
- Master in Secondary Education Teacher Training
- Master in Data Science
The ceremony will be led by FIB Dean Anna Rio and will include a lecture by a distinguished speaker, as well as a speech from a student representative of the graduating class. Attending students will receive a commemorative diploma from the Faculty.
Program of the event
- Welcome by Dean, Anna Rio.
- The ceremony will be hosted by Anna Queralt, professor of the Department of Systems Engineering and Information Services.
- Lecture by David Carrera, CTO and co-founder of NearbyComputing: "How to Make the Target Hit the Arrow"
- Speeches by five graduates from the 2024-2025 class
- Presentation of recognitions and diplomas to graduates
- Closing of the event.
