XIII Summer School MESIO UPC-UB

The XIII Summer School comprises 11 regular courses taught  either in English or  Spanish as well as 2 special courses. The regular courses are 15 hours long and include lectures and practical labs. Some of the regular courses are related to deep/machine learning and big data analysis.

• One of the special courses is found in the participation in a Hackaton for rare diseases in a multidisciplinary group (non profit event).
• The second course consists, after some introductorysessions, in the participation in the spring meeting of the International Statistical Engineering Association, that this year turns around the concept of Statistical Engineering.

For those students willing to have a certificate, an evaluation will be given.

There are special fees for students from the public catalan Universities, researchers from groups and institutes linked to the UPC and the UB Universities, as well as members of the Societat Catalana d’Estadística.
For UPC studients each course of 15 h has a price of 120 euros.
