On 20 November, the recognition event for Professor David López Álvarez was held in the Assembly Hall of the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB, UPC). He was awarded:
UPC Prize for Quality in University Teaching 2024 (teaching career).
Jaume Vicens Vives Distinction 2024 (teaching quality).
The event was chaired by the Rector of UPC, Daniel Crespo, and the President of the Social Council, Montserrat Guàrdia.
Professor David López delivered an inspiring talk entitled “A review of the current state of engineering education: trends, evidence and changes needed at UPC”.
