If you are interested in going to Japan, the National Institute of Informatics offers scholarships for Master’s and/or Ph.D. degree students to make a research on diverse topics.
Features:
- The amount of the grant is 171,000 yen (about 1,400 euros/month) with accident insurance included.
- The length of stay ranges from 60 to 180 days (including travel).
- Interns accepted for this program must arrive between early December and mid March, 2018.
Requirements:
- Being a Master or Ph.D. degree student when applying as well as during the research stay.
- Having a good academic record.
- Having a good level of English.
- Mandatory Reading and following of the guidelines of the internship program”.
Procedure:
The interested should send their application by email to vd.iirr@fib.upc.edu with subject NII Internship including:
- Level of English and available accreditation.
- Motivation letter in English (it is very important in the selection process).
- Application form, duly completed, that can be found at
http://www.nii.ac.jp/en/about/international/mouresearch/internship2017-2/
The application form must relate, at most, three research topics to choose from those found in the List of Research topics and should include a CV.
- Academic transcript of the program of current studies or last program studied.
- Copy of email from a supervisor of NII accepting to work with the candidate (at least attach one acceptance).
