Informatics has become the main driving force in many scientific and technological fields. The Master in Innovation and Research in Informatics is designed to provide a solid background in different aspects of research in informatics, while preparing its graduates to become experts in any of the fields of specialization offered: Advanced Computing, Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality, Computer Networks and Distributed Systems and High Performance Computing.

Four semesters (120 ECTS credits). Face-to-face. Starting September and February
Full-time: 20h lectures, 20h personal work per week
Part-time: half of full-time
Lectures are mainly in the morning. (8am - 3pm)

The Master in Innovation and Research in Informatics graduates will have a high capacity to analyse and solve complex problems. Thus they will be qualified to work in any company willing to incorporate emerging technologies in the sector, especially those with R&D centres, public and private research centres or University departments, in which they would develop new research activities. Graduates of this Master Programme also acquire the skills and knowledge to enrol in PhD programs.
