Premios de la Informática - Fundación BBVA, 2026

La SCIE and the Fundación BBVA open the new edition of the Premios de Investigación Sociedad Científica Informática de España - Fundación BBVA.

The Sociedad Científica Informática de España (SCIE) and the Fundación BBVA have announced the new call for the Premios de Investigación SCIE – Fundación BBVA, which include two annual national-level categories.

The first category, the Premios Nacionales de Informática, recognizes the work of researchers and public or private organizations that have dedicated their professional careers to the study, promotion, and dissemination of computing. This category includes four awards: Premio José García Santesmases, Premio Aritmel, Premio Ramón Llull, and Premio Ángela Ruiz Robles.

The second category, Investigadores Jóvenes en Informática, is aimed at recognizing innovative and impactful doctoral research by researchers of Spanish nationality or of other nationalities who have conducted their research in Spain. Candidates must be under 30 years old as of December 31, 2025 (born in 1996 or later). Up to six awards will be granted in this category, each with a gross amount of €10,000.

The deadline to submit applications is March 31, 2026, at 14:00 (CET).
