Graduation ceremony of the degree in Data Science and Engineering (GCED) - 4th promotion

The event took place in the ETSEIB auditorium on Friday, 12th of July, 2024, in a heartfelt and very impressive ceremony with a full house.

The recognition of the 4th GCED 2024 cohort included, in addition to the diploma presentation, a keynote address by Aleix Martínez (Principal Scientist and Director of Amazon Science in Seattle and Barcelona), remarks by the sponsor Climent Nadeu, and closing comments by Montse Pardàs, Vice-Rector for Academic Policy at UPC. Following this, the students took over with a speech, a multimedia presentation, and a small concert featuring three musical pieces with saxophone, violin, and a piano duet, which delighted the audience.

After the group photos were taken, everyone had the chance to celebrate and toast the occasion in the Faculty courtyard.
