bitsxlaMarató: Solidarity Hackathon Against Cancer — Let’s Detect It, Let’s Fix It

bitsxlaMarató is back! This year dedicated to cancer. Organized by the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB), Hackers@UPC (organizers of HackUPC), Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) and the Catalan Institute of Oncology.

The Hackathon is an event full of creativity, health, and technology, where faculty, researchers, and professionals from both the health and technology sectors will work together for three days, developing solutions that help detect cancer early and save lives.

This will be the 7th edition of the Hackathon, taking place on December 12, 13, and 14, in person at FIB–UPC.

It will include informative talks that you won’t want to miss! Throughout the final day, teams will present and demo their proposals and solutions to the challenges posed. There will also be symbolic awards and a prize for the best project!

If you are also an undergraduate or master’s student (MIRI, MAI, or MDS) at the FIB, you can earn up to 2 ECTS.
