FIB student David Morán awarded at the AI-2019 conference

he student of the Master’s Degree in Innovation and Research in Informatics (MIRI) at FIB, David Morán Pomés, has been awarded the prize for the best paper written by a student at the 39th SGAI International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, held in Cambridge, England, from 17 to 19 December 2019.

The paper was awarded within the technical section, whose objective is to present the best and most innovative advances in Artificial Intelligence. To produce this article, the MIRI student specializing in Data Science collaborated with Lluís A. Belanche, professor in the Department of Computer Science.

This award is granted annually by the British Computer Society (Specialist Group on Artificial Intelligence) to the best papers in which the main author is a student.
