International Summer Research Programme at The Aalto Science Institute, 2025

Aalto Science Institute international summer research (internship) programme offers to undergraduate and master students to experience a transformative three-month research assistantship at Aalto University and make the most of your summer in Finland.

Positions are available in several fields of study: mathematics, physics, engineering,computer science, materials physics, mechanical engineering etc.

Duration: 12 weeks (June – August 2025)

AScI internship students will receive a salary from their hosting department. The salary is sufficient to cover living costs, including accommodation. The salary is determined based on experience and qualifications according to the salary system of Aalto University. The minimum salary is 1800 €/ month for bachelor's students and higher for master's students. In addition, a single fixed travel bonus is paid (400€/800€ for those inside/outside Europe).
