The Europe-Colorado Program will hold an information session at the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, at 12:15 pm, in the Manuel Martí Recober Auditorium, B6 Building, UPC North Campus.
The program, offered by the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) in partnership with the Balsells Program, provides mobility opportunities for European bachelor's and master's students interested in carrying out their final project in engineering or computer science under the supervision of a CU Boulder faculty member.
Selected students can undertake a 4-6 month research internship in a CU Boulder research laboratory. Opportunities are available in a wide range of fields, including Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, among others.
The program provides research supplies, mentoring, and partial support for transportation and living expenses. Applicants are expected to have a strong academic record, sufficient English proficiency for an academic environment, and an interest in potentially pursuing graduate studies at CU Boulder after the mobility experience.
The information session is an opportunity for FIB students to learn more about the program, its research opportunities, requirements and application process.
