On 17 July, students and faculty members from Tongji University (Shanghai, China) visited the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) to learn more about its facilities, academic programmes, and teaching and research activities.
The visit began with a presentation of the School and its degree programmes. Afterwards, the visitors toured the FIB Museum and explored some of the most representative spaces on UPC's North Campus, including the teaching and research laboratories, the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library, and other campus facilities, gaining first-hand insight into the university environment and UPC's infrastructure.
The visit concluded at FABLab North Campus, where they learned about this leading centre for innovation, digital fabrication, research, technology and design.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to foster the exchange of experiences between the two universities and to strengthen academic and institutional ties, in line with FIB's commitment to internationalisation and collaboration with universities around the world.
