Call for Applications: China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2026

Tongji University invites UPC students to participate in the Spanish Phase of the China International College Students' Innovation Competition,

Registrations are now open to participate in one of the most prominent international competitions in the field of entrepreneurship and youth innovation, an initiative that allows participants to present disruptive projects and establish connections with universities, companies, and investors from around the world.

The competition also represents a gateway to the Asian technology ecosystem and has become one of the leading international platforms for promoting entrepreneurial and technological talent.

The call is open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students, as well as graduates from the past five years, under the age of 35.

Teams may consist of between 2 and 15 members, including inter-university teams, and projects may be submitted in the Creativity or Entrepreneurship categories, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Key dates

Applications open until May 30, 2026 (24:00 Beijing time)

Spanish national final: July 2, 2026, at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid

Global final: September 2026, in China

The winning teams of the national phase will qualify directly for the global final. In addition, one representative from each of the top 100 teams will have the opportunity to take part in a study visit to leading technology companies in China.
