The 11th National Conference on Cybersecurity Research (JNIC 2026) will be held from May 6 to 8, 2026, at the Vèrtex Building Auditorium (VX), Plaça d’Eusebi Güell, 6, Campus Nord of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), with the participation of the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE).
This conference is the leading scientific event in cybersecurity in Spain, bringing together researchers, professionals, and organizations from the technological and academic sectors to share knowledge, experiences, and advances in the field.
Local organization is led by the ISG-MAK research group (Information Security Group – Mathematics Applied to Cryptography), which works in key areas such as classical and post-quantum cryptography, privacy, secure protocols, digital forensics, and secure networks.
In this context, several professors involved in the FIB Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity actively contribute to the organization and development of the conference, strengthening the link between education, research, and knowledge transfer.
The organization of JNIC 2026 at UPC is also supported by the CARISMÁTICA Cybersecurity Chair, an initiative promoted by INCIBE and funded through Next Generation EU funds.
