The graduation ceremony for the 6th graduating class of the Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science and Engineering (GCED) will take place on July 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
The ceremony will be held at the Vèrtex Auditorium at UPC’s North Campus (Plaça Eusebi Güell, 6, Barcelona) and will include the participation of institutional representatives from the schools involved in the degree programme.
The event will feature a keynote talk by Sergi Oliva, UPC computer science graduate, PhD in complexity theory, and current head coach of the Rip City Remix, affiliate team of the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA G-League.
The class sponsor, Marta Arias Vicente, professor in the UPC Department of Computer Science, will also participate in the ceremony.
During the event, diplomas will be awarded to students of the 6th graduating class, and student representatives will also address the audience.
After the ceremony, a reception will be held at the FIB Bar on UPC’s North Campus.
