The Women in Computer Sciences (WiCS) group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is organizing a new open day on April 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, aimed at students interested in computer science and research.
The event aims to showcase the work of researchers in the Computer Sciences department and encourage interest in technology careers, especially among women.
The program includes:
• 3:00 PM – Presentation of the Computer Sciences department and its research activities
• 4:00 PM – Visit to the MareNostrum 5 supercomputer
• 4:30 PM – Coffee and networking with researchers
The event will take place at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and offers a unique opportunity to experience a leading research environment and interact with professionals in the field.
