Workshop on real-world HPC applications to be held on January 16, 2026, in Toulouse (France).

As part of the activities of the EUMaster4HPC programme, in which the FIB participates, the workshop “HPC in action: a full-day immersion into real-world practice” has been organised in Toulouse (France). The event will follow a hybrid format, allowing both on-site and online participation.

This workshop, open to students of the EUMaster4HPC programme and individuals affiliated with institutions within the consortium, offers a practical and applied perspective on High-Performance Computing (HPC), addressing how this technology is currently used in research and industry.

Throughout the day, speakers from CERFACS, Sorbonne Université, CALMIP and the Tempus project will present real use cases, technologies and professional practices in HPC, enabling participants to gain first-hand insight into the most relevant aspects of the sector.

Registration is open until January 8, 2026.

The workshop is limited to 140 participants: 70 on-site and 70 online.

More information about the workshop is available on the EUMaster4HPC website.
