WiDS Barcelona 2025 - Women in Data Science

The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists around the world, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field of data. WiDS began as a one-day technical conference at Stanford in November 2015 and has now become a global movement including multiple initiatives worldwide organised by WiDS Ambassadors.

This year marks the 5th edition of WiDS-Barcelona.

When? Wednesday, 21st of May, from 16:30 to 20:00
Where? Manuel Martí Recober Auditorium, FIB-UPC
Format? The event will be held in person, with recording and later publication as a webinar.

Free and open event requiring prior registration. Check all the details, agenda, and registration.

We will have outstanding women speakers in the areas of innovation, data science, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship.

The event will conclude with a networking dinner with the speakers, which you can sign up for on the same website.
WiDS-Barcelona is an independent event organised by the WiDS Ambassadors in Barcelona, Karina Gibert (IDEAI-UPC, COEINF) and Nuria Castell (FIB, COEINF), an event endorsed by Stanford University as part of the Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative, which holds the Global Conference at Stanford and multiple activities at nearly 200 locations worldwide.
