The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) has once again been recognized as one of Spain’s leading universities in the field of technology. According to the ranking of the 50 most requested degree programmes published by El Mundo, UPC ranks first in Spain for both the Computer Engineering and Data Science bachelor’s degrees.
This recognition highlights the teaching quality, research excellence, and strong connection with the technology sector of the degree programmes linked to the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB).
For Computer Engineering, UPC leads the ranking ahead of the University of Granada, the Technical University of Madrid, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and Carlos III University of Madrid. In Data Science, UPC also tops the ranking, followed by Carlos III University, Complutense University of Madrid, the Technical University of Madrid, and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
