UPC is once again participating in the Industrial Tech pre-acceleration programme, an initiative promoted within the framework of Emprèn UPC aimed at fostering innovation-driven technological and industrial entrepreneurship.
The fifth edition of the programme is open to anyone interested in entrepreneurship in the industrial sector, regardless of whether they belong to the UPC community.
The programme is free of charge, will be held in person between September 14 and December 3, 2026, and requires an estimated commitment of 8 to 10 hours per week. It is funded by the Department of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
Industrial Tech offers specialized training and mentoring in areas such as:
additive manufacturing,
robotics,
Internet of Things (IoT),
cloud computing,
big data,
virtual reality,
prototyping and rapid manufacturing,
innovation and business management.
The programme combines technical and technological sessions with entrepreneurship and innovative business model development content, and includes personalized mentoring with industry professionals and experts.
The initiative is aimed both at early-stage entrepreneurial projects and at individuals who want to start developing a technology-based idea related to the industrial sector.
Applications will remain open until September 4, 2026 through the registration form.
