N3Cat offers several scholarships for MIRI students interested in communications, nanotechnology and/or computer architecture.

The NaNoNetworking Center in Catalunya (N3Cat) is a multi-department research centre with the ultimate goal of carrying fundamental research on communications and networking enabled by nanotechnology that has devoted significant efforts in investigating the impact of emerging technologies in the field of chip-scale communications. The aim of N3Cat is to continue advancing in the research avenue of on-chip communications and networking.
The goal of the scholarships is to obtain research experience in a vibrant, international, and dynamic research group, covering 1 or 2 years, including the master thesis.

Requirements for applicants
MIRI students, preferably in the Computer Networks and Distributed Systems, Data Science or High Performance Computing specialisations.
Amount of grants
The amount of the grants is 7.000 € per year.
