On 13 July, the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) welcomed Yin Xuefeng, Dean of the Undergraduate College at Tongji University (Shanghai, China), one of the country's leading universities in engineering and technology.
During the visit, he met with FIB Dean Anna Rio, the Vice-Dean for International Relations, Anna de Mier, and the Vice-Dean for Planning and Strategy in Artificial Intelligence, Lluís Màrquez, to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore new forms of academic cooperation, particularly in student and faculty exchange programmes, as well as to lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives in education and research.
The visit further strengthens FIB's commitment to internationalisation and to building strategic partnerships with leading universities around the world.
