“Emotional Well-Being and Technology: Digital Support in Cancer”

You are here

On Wednesday, December 3, we will talk about cancer with Marina Ruiz Romeo.

TV3’s La Marató this year focuses on emotional well-being and mental health, an area that has a direct impact on people’s quality of life and becomes especially important in moments of vulnerability. In this context, technology has become a key tool for providing information, support and accompaniment in an accessible and personalized way.

As part of the bitsxLaMarató initiative, we invite you to a talk where we will discuss how digital tools can improve the experience of people with cancer. Diagnosis and treatment often have a psychological and cognitive impact, and technology can open up new opportunities to enhance communication, encourage participation, and tailor support to each patient’s needs.

Drawing on clinical experience and research in mobile applications in oncology, the talk will offer a shared reflection between healthcare professionals, researchers and technology teams. The goal is to create digital solutions that are more human, useful, and designed around real user experience.
