SWERC (South Western Europe Regional Contest) is the most important rapid computer programming competition that universities in south-western Europe can attend. This year was held at the Télécom Paris Tech University

The UPC has been represented by 3 teams, trained by Salvador Roura, who were among the top 8 (out of a total of 89 participating teams). Seven of the nine participants are students at FIB.
The UPC 1 Team will go to the world final of the ACM-ICPC 2019 (ACM International University Programming Competition) that will take place in Porto from March 31 to April 5, 2019
