FIBer Team participates in the FIRST Global Challenge 2018

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Global Challenge is an international youth competition to solve problems, this year about the energy impact

RoboCaspers is a Robotic Education Robots team, formed by FIB students Arnau Soler, Francesc Martí, Lucas Cajat and Miquel Escobar. They participated in the second edition of the FIRST Global Challenge held in Mexico City from August 16 to 18, representing Spain.

Although the airline lost during the trip of the robot and box the spare parts, in just 10 hours Francesc, Arnau and Miquel made an original replica of the robot, which had been designed for months, to build and to program. They won six of the eight games that they disputed and reached the 18th place among the 160 participating countries.
