Recognition of elective credits for work experience

The minimum number of credits that can be recognised is 6 ECTS for every 1,600 hours of work under an employment contract with a company. If 3,200 hours can be accredited, 12 ECTS could be recognised.

The application for recognition must be submitted via the Seu Electrònica, by completing the application for recognition of credits for work experience, and must be accompanied by the following documentation:

• Certificate of employment history issued (vida laboral) by the Social Security.
• Copy of the employment contract.
• Document with a description of the tasks performed, signed by a company representative.

The Faculty management will assess whether the accredited work and professional experience is related to the skills inherent in the corresponding bachelor's or master's degree.

When the recognition is accepted, the credits will be added to the student's record so that they can be paid via eSecretaria > Forms and payments. 
Once this amount has been paid, the student will automatically be able to see the recognised optional credits on their record.
