There are multiple ways to fund your studies at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC). The University and other organisations offer grants, scholarships, mobility grants and loans.

Below you will find information on specific scholarships and grants that you can apply for at the FIB. To qualify for any of these, you must have applied for admission to the relevant Master's programme.
Grants Master
NTT DATA awards scholarships for the enrolment fees of students on the master's degree at the FIB.
Applications
Those interested in the scholarships must fill in the online application form.
Requisits
- Applicants must be graduates of the bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering or be students in a FIB's Master at the moment of application.
- They must enrol full-time on a FIB master’s degree programme taught at the FIB (MEI, MIRI, MAI or MDS) for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Preference will be given to the students of the Master in Innovation and Research In Informatics, specializations Advanced Computing or Computer Networks and Distributed Systems.

The value of each scholarship will be 1,500 euros.

- be enrolled full time in one of the FIB's Master's programmes (MEI, MIRI, MAI or MDS)

The scholarship will be paid in two instalments:
- A first instalment amounting to 50 per cent of the scholarship amount, once enrolment for the first four-month term has been completed.
- A second payment corresponding to the remaining 50 per cent, once enrolment for the second term has been completed and subject to maintaining a minimum academic performance of 7.0 (seven) in the average mark (taking into account both passed and failed modules) for the ECTS credits enrolled for which the scholarship applies during the first term.

Those interested in the scholarships must fill in the online application form.
Requisits
- Be a full-time student in a FIB’s Master for the academic year 2024-2025.
- The minimum number of credits to be enrolled must be 30 ECTS per semester, unless they are the last credits of the programme.

The amount of the grant is the cost of 2100 €.
50% of the scholarship will be paid upon enrolment for the first semester. The remaining 50% will be paid upon enrolment for the second semester, subject to the academic performance obtained in the first semester.
Should the scholarship holder fail to comply with the rules, he/she will be obliged to repay the amount of the scholarship up to that point.
