CEBIM is a specific research centre (CER) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya dedicated to promote research in the field of biotechnology with a special emphasis on its molecular aspects.
Starting from this research point in molecular aspects, the field of application is extended in all research areas in the field of biotechnology (from the use of informatics tools in the field of genetics research to the biotechnological processes where biological molecules are processed or created) and similar that exist at UPC
