Statistics and Operations Research

The Department of Statistics and Operations Research (DEIO) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) carries out research and teching activities in several areas such as industrial engineering, the development of intelligent interfaces and automatic data processing, optimization and simulation of flows in networks and applications of the foregoing.

The department develops these research topics through its research groups.
