They need to be requested via e-Secretaria and will be issued within a maximum of 4 working days.
If you have access to the e-Secretaria
- Log in: Use your UPC intranet credentials.
- Find the procedure: Certificates (left-hand menu).
- Choose certificate: Indicate the type of certificate you need (for example, Personal Academic Certificate).
- Complete the details: Specify the language of the document and payment method.
- Pay the fees: Online via e-Secretaria.
- In the enrolment menu, choose the option Forms and Payments.
- Select the most recent form for “Academic Certification” and click on the credit card logo or the “Línia Oberta” (La Caixa online banking) logo.
- Choose one of the two options in the list, and a page will open. There, you will be able to confirm the payment directly with the bank. You will find more information about making the online payment in the following document: Instructions for payment via e-Secretaria.
If you do not have access to the e-Secretaria
- Send an email to

attaching a copy of your valid ID card (for Spanish nationals) or passport/NIE (for foreign nationals).
Important
- Derlivery time: 4 working days (maximum).
- Legalisation. For original academic documents to be valid abroad, legalisation is required.
The legalisation of original academic documents intended to be valid abroad, there is an internationally agreed process that requires prior recognition of signatures by Spanish relevant authorities. In the specific case of official academic certificates for studies leading to the award of degrees, issued and signed by academic authorities UPC academic units (schools, departments, and university research institutes), you must request the certificate specifically for legalisation.
