WiDS Barcelona 2024 - Women in Data Science

The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists around the world regardless of gender and support women in data. WiDS started as a one-day technical conference at Stanford in November 2015 and is now a global movement that includes multiple initiatives around the world organized by WiDS Ambassadors.

After the success of the previous editions, we have here the 4th edition of WiDS-Barcelona.

When? Thursday, 11th of April from 9:30h to 12:45h

Where? Sala d'Actes Manuel Martí Recober at the FIB-UPC

Format? Face-to-face event with recording and subsequent publication in webinar format.

Free and open event that requires prior registration.

It will count with leading women in the areas of innovation, data science, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Check the program and the details of the day.

The event will end with a networking dinner with the speakers to which you can sign up from the same website.

WiDS-Barcelona is an independent event organized by the WiDS hosts in Barcelona Karina Gibert (IDEAI-UPC, COEINF) and Nuria Castell (FIB, COEINF), an event validated by Stanford University in the framework of the Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative that celebrates the World Conference at Stanford and multiple activities in almost 200 locations around the world.
