This course provides an in-depth analysis of a representative set of case studies of successful innovation in services based on new uses of information tecnologies. For each case study, the course analyses the factors that lead to its success, the problems found, and the lessons learnt. The course also classifies each case study in terms of a general framework. At the end of the course, the student will be able to classify a particular service system in the framework, and apply (some of) the lessons learnt in the case studies to that system.
