Aalto Science Institute has opened applications for its Summer 2026 internship programmelunes 22 Diciembre 2025

The Aalto Science Institute (AScI) has officially opened the call for applications for its International Summer Research Programme 2026, aimed at international bachelor’s and master’s students interested in gaining research experience in Finland.
The programme will take place over a 12-week period from June to August 2026 in Espoo, Finland. Internship positions are available in a wide range of academic fields, including mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, materials physics, and mechanical engineering, among others.
Selected students will receive a monthly salary paid by the hosting department, which is sufficient to cover living expenses, including accommodation. The minimum salary is €2,000 per month for bachelor’s students, with higher compensation for master’s students based on experience and qualifications, in accordance with Aalto University’s salary system. In addition, participants will receive a one-time travel allowance of €400 for students based in Europe and €800 for those coming from outside Europe.
